Job summary

A recruitment agency focused on infrastructure is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position in Exeter. • Manage Pre and Post Contract activities for Infrastructure projects.
• Develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Mentor juniors and develop client relationships.

Your Purpose:

We are seeking a well-rounded Senior Quantity Surveyor with Pre and Post Contract experience on Infrastructure projects, in sectors such as:

• Highways (National or Local Transport)
• Rail
• Energy (Nuclear, Renewables, Carbon Capture)
• MOD
• Aviation

What you can bring:

• A quantity surveying / commercial degree or equivalent qualification. Working towards a recognized chartership is a plus.
• Experience administering NEC contracts and managing Infrastructure projects, ideally within at least one sector.
• Good knowledge of measurement methods like Highways and CESMM, and understanding of procurement documents for ITT preparation.
• Understanding of construction techniques and technology. Experience managing medium-sized projects with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• A natural curiosity for developing innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Experience compiling ITT documents, project and technical leadership, mentoring juniors, and developing client relationships. Interest in Business and Account Management.
