Exclusive Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity - SME House Builder - Evesham
Up to £65,000 + Package

Walker & Sloan have partnered exclusively with a well-established SME house builder in Evesham to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments. Working directly under the Managing Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial success of the company's projects.


The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of residential developments, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to the highest standards. Your key duties will include:

  1. Managing cost control, procurement, and subcontractor relationships.
  2. Preparing and reviewing valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  3. Conducting risk assessments and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  4. Supporting the Managing Surveyor in strategic decision-making.
  5. Ensuring compliance with company policies, contracts, and regulations.
  6. Assisting in project forecasting and financial reporting.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A strong background in residential construction, ideally within an SME environment.
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with experience in a senior role preferred.
  3. Excellent knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost management.
  4. Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  5. A proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder management.
