Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

M Group Transport (Rail & Aviation) is recruiting for aviation maintenance and capital works in southern England, with Heathrow and Gatwick named among the principal locations. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will prepare budgets and estimates, then control expenditure through project delivery and final-account settlement. Contract administration includes negotiating terms, while the procurement responsibilities require the identification and management of project risks.

The role also involves sharing technical knowledge with junior colleagues and supporting their development. Applicants should hold a quantity-surveying, civil-engineering or related degree. MRICS or CICES accreditation is preferred.

The employer seeks substantial experience in civil engineering, aviation, rail, defence or another safety-critical sector, together with knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4, particularly ECC Options A, C and E. Oracle cost-management software and Microsoft Office skills are required, alongside analytical and negotiation ability. The advertised arrangement is hybrid.
