As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll apply your expertise to exciting projects involving listed buildings and luxury homes, working alongside a dedicated team committed to quality and precision.

This role offers the chance to make a real impact on unique high-end projects.

  • Building strong working relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Clients, and Subcontractors.
  • Taking ownership of preparing valuations and final accounts, helping keep projects on track financially.
  • Playing a key role in monitoring project performance by producing monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final account projections.
  • Bringing fresh ideas by reviewing and improving organizational operations.
  • Ensuring all variations are agreed promptly with clients and subcontractors.
  • Managing subcontractor packages from start to finish, including re-measuring works, reviewing payment applications, and issuing accurate payment notices on time.
  • Previous experience with High-end Residential projects and managing projects of at least £5m.
  • Solid grasp of traditional building methods and materials, especially in listed buildings and high-end period property refurbishments.
  • Experience in controlling complex projects with many moving parts, managing variations, pricing accurately, and documenting with CVIs and AIs.
  • Strong background in private residential construction with an understanding of the quality and detail in high-end bespoke projects.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office to keep everything on track.
  • A sharp head for numbers, steady financial management, and quick learning of construction management software and digital tools.
