Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor ready for your next challenge? Do you want to take the lead on major civil engineering projects across the South West? Ready to manage schemes from tender stage through to final account while shaping commercial strategy?


We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's commercial team as they deliver a strong pipeline of projects for the foreseeable future. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of clients under NEC and ICC contracts, taking full responsibility for commercial management and mentoring junior team members along the way.


Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you'll be a key player in cost control, procurement, and contract administration-ensuring each project is delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards.


What you'll do:



  • Lead the commercial management of assigned projects




  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts




  • Manage variations, claims, and contractual notices




  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams




  • Oversee procurement strategy and change control processes




  • Prepare interim applications for payment and agree final accounts




What we need from you:



  • Civil engineering experience within the UK




  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (or similar)




  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts




  • Valid UK driving licence
