Job summary

London-based Senior Quantity Surveyor role with a specialist façade remediation contractor. The position is predominantly office-based, responsible for the commercial and contractual management of façade remediation projects across London.

Key duties include preparing CVRs, managing subcontract procurement, administering consultant appointments, and monitoring variations, valuations and payments in line with JCT contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing CVRs.

We are working with a specialist contractor operating across the façade remediation sector who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in London.

This is predominantly an office-based position, taking responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of façade remediation projects across London.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and management of monthly CVRs
• Commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control
• Managing subcontractor procurement and subcontract orders
• Reviewing and administering contractual documentation
• Managing consultant appointments
• Assessing variations, valuations and payments
• Identifying and managing commercial and contractual risk
• Working closely with project teams to monitor project performance
• Supporting final accounts and commercial close-out
• Ensuring projects are managed in accordance with agreed contractual terms

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor or specialist contractor environment
• Strong experience producing and managing CVRs
• Good commercial and contractual awareness
• Experience preparing and managing subcontract orders
• Experience with consultant appointments
• Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts
• Confident managing multiple projects and commercial responsibilities
• Façade, cladding or remediation experience would be highly advantageous
