Danny Sullivan Group are searching for their next Senior Quantity Surveyor to work in a role based in Edinburgh, both office and on-site.
The ideal candidate for this role would be an individual who can lead and deliver a successful project. A Senior Quantity Surveyor holds a vital role in maximising the project's profitability, along with ensuring the client is satisfied.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the cost estimates and budgets for each project.
  • Overlooking project costs and calculating cost-efficient strategies.
  • Assisting with overlooking and preparing certain stages, such as evaluation of bids, tender documents and selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Making sure that contractors are working within legal requirements.
  • Supporting and creating a healthy working environment for all those involved.
  • Working with junior Quantity Surveyors by offering them guidance on the most effective working practices.
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working on Power/Substation/BESS/Electrical projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in either Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in Quantity Surveying with a record of working on complex construction projects.
  • Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS/CICES) is necessary.
