Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Building Services commercial team in Tewkesbury.

The purpose of the role is to successfully manage the MEP project finances and contractual obligations internally and externally, including all subcontract packages, as a member of the project team. The role requires working within prescribed financial margins to ensure client satisfaction and meeting the company's financial targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Undertake all responsibilities in line with company policies and IMS procedures, including adherence to the Code of Conduct, Contract Performance Procedure, Project Review Management Guidelines, Risk and Opportunity Management Guidelines, Design Management Guidelines, and Project Closeout Guidelines.
2. Ensure that the obligations and responsibilities of the Project and other stakeholders are properly fulfilled.
3. Monitor and manage the scope, notices, terms, and conditions of the Contract.
4. Oversee contract procedures, payments, variations, and contract entitlements.
5. Manage dispute resolution procedures effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience of managing MEP projects or holding a No. 2 position on large MEP projects.
• Previous experience at QS level, managing significant multiple subcontract packages (£5-10M+).
• Good working knowledge of contract and commercial law.
• Experience with Design and Build forms of contract.
• SMSTS certification.
• Degree or equivalent in a commercial-related subject.
