We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established contractor based in Bristol. Turning over circa £1bn, the business operates within the residential market with both private tenure and HA schemes. Projects are administered via JCT and NEC forms of contract and value up to £50mil.

About the role of Senor Quantity Surveyor:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from planning through to completion, with a more junior Surveyor reporting into you. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time whilst maximising profits.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:

• Work alongside the pre-construction team through pre-construction
• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts
• Mentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional development

Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:

• Hold a HNC or construction related degree
• Have a proven track record of delivering schemes administered via JCT or NEC forms of contract
• Extensive knowledge of civils packages is highly sought after
• Have the full right to work in the UK
