Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd in Bridgwater, England, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a landmark civil engineering project. On-site role with strong NEC3/NEC4 contract experience and a chance to work on a major South West infrastructure program.

You will lead commercial management, subcontract procurement, cost reporting, and change control while building relationships with clients and the supply chain to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
• Experience managing subcontract accounts from procurement through to final account.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach with a passion for delivering successful projects.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of major civil engineering and infrastructure works.
• Administration of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts.
• Procurement and management of subcontractors.
• Cost reporting, forecasting, valuations and CVRs.
• Management of compensation events and change control.
• Building strong working relationships with clients, operational teams and the supply chain.
• Supporting the successful commercial delivery of a high-profile infrastructure project.
