Job summary

Vistry is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Special Projects team within Vistry Services, based at the Brentwood office with travel to sites as required. You will be responsible for managing all costs, procurement, and final accounts, while ensuring value for money and quality across projects.

The role emphasizes in-person collaboration with flexible working where possible, as we support candidates’ specific requirements during the interview process.

• Oversee procurement, Procurement Tracker, CVRs, cash flows and monthly payments.
• Administer contracts, final accounts and subcontract management.

Job description

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Special Projects team within Vistry Services, based at our Brentwood office with travel to sites, as required. As our Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to our projects. Your focus is to minimise the costs of a project and enhance margin and value for money, whilst still achieving the required standards and quality. This will also include procurement, Procurement Tracker, Recovery, CVRs, Cash Flows, subcontract management inclusive of administration of the contract, monthly payments, and final account settlement.

Following the signing of ‘The Pledge’ the Special Projects Business Unit has been established to investigate, and then remediate where necessary, all buildings over 11m that the Group developed in the last 30 years that have fire safety defects to bring the buildings to a safe standard for leaseholders/residents.
