Job summary

Monaghans is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on major residential and mixed-use developments in Manchester. You will deliver pre-contract and post-contract QS services and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

You should hold a degree in Quantity Surveying and have at least seven years' consultancy experience. Strong contract knowledge, leadership skills and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably in a consultancy.
• Strong experience in the residential sector with high‑risk residential building experience advantageous.
• Excellent contract knowledge and contract administration.
• Proven ability to manage project change, risk and commercial performance.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior professionals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant industry systems.

What You'll Be Doing

Essential Requirements
