Job description

One of our clients are looking for a Senior QS to assist them with working on National Grid substation projects. This would be a hybrid role based out of their Birmingham Office with occasional visits to site when required.

The role:

• ASAP start
• 6-month initial contract
• Inside IR35
• Hybrid - office/site 2-3 days and wfh

Requirements:

• Strong NEC knowledge
• Skilled Senior QS with proven experience
• Previous substation experience
• Experience working for Tier 1 contractor

Specific duties:

• This role will provide commercial support at a project level in all aspects of commercial control. You will work on both live projects and tender opportunities within the power sector. You will use your in-depth experience of the NEC3 and NEC4 forms of contract (Options A and C) to administer projects effectively including the development and implementation of subcontracts with the supply chain. This specific role requires Estimating experience.
