A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Bedford. You will work on an exciting project within an established team of quantity surveying professionals.

Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Procurement of materials
• Managing and pricing change
• Managing subcontractors/labour
• Raising early warnings and managing change events
• Completing cost variation reports
• Client and stakeholder liaison

Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Experience working for a civil engineering contractor
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead under pressure
• Proven experience in the highways/civils sector
• Understanding of NEC forms of contract
• Degree qualification
• Professional qualification (preferred)
