A reputable construction company is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team within the HS2 contract. This role is crucial in ensuring commercial excellence through management of subcontractors and client relationships. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, strategic and charismatic person, to join our team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be an integral part of the commercial team on our HS2 contract.
Strong analysis skills, with demonstrable experience of making sound decisions, that have been informed by experience and data intelligence along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.

You have a positive, can-do attitude and a collaborative mindset, who thrives in a team environment and is committed to delivering excellence. You will have significant commercial experience within a contractor setting, with a strong track record of motivating others and achieving shared goals. Your background will include the management of a variety of contracts and complex contractual arrangements, supported by solid technical construction knowledge. Previous experience in a client facing position preferred.
You should bring highly developed commercial awareness and demonstrable experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level with NEC3 Option A experience. Strong communication skills-both verbal and written-are essential, as is your ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from colleagues to clients. We're also looking for someone with a resourceful approach, capable of working under pressure without compromising on attention to detail.
Ideally, you will have demonstrable experience of self delivery in an infrastructure environment., and be confident managing subcontract procurement and contract administration in line with industry best practices.
