Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Aldermaston (Site and office based, 5 days per week) | Sector: Major Projects (AWE) | Start Date: ASAP | Contract Type: Freelance (12-month minimum) | Outside IR35

A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to join a Major Projects Division of a main contractor, supporting the delivery of high-profile construction works with a particular focus on architectural fit-out packages across local MOD sites.

Experience needed in:

1. Minimum 5-10 years' Construction industry, ideally with fit out
2. Working with a main contractor
3. Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, especially NEC3 or NEC4
4. Estimating, cost reporting, CVRs, change management, procurement, and contract administration
5. Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously
6. Strong analytical and financial skills, with a detail-oriented approach
7. MOD, AWE, or nuclear-related projects (desirable)
8. Architectural fit-out experience (desirable)
9. Willing and able to obtain Security Clearance (SC)

Requirements:

1. British Passport holder
2. Eligible for DV clearance (10+ years UK residency preferred)
3. Excellent communicator & strong team player
