Additionally, you’ll have the flexibility to pick own focus areas be it in the direction of coding and model improvement, outstanding analysis or elevated data delivery to customers. ICIS will support you to develop into a market expert in your field of interest.

We work in a dynamic, project-oriented setting, which allows space for innovation and guarantees a high individual responsibility and project ownership. You will benefit from our energy modelling expertise and your work will be an integral element to our cross-team approach. You will be part of an international team, which requires occasional travel within the EU. As of day one, you will be tasked with challenging analytics projects and be in contact with customers and prospects across the EU energy landscape.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyse market drivers and provide in-depth, data-driven analysis
  • Lead and manage relevant projects
  • Continue your journey to develop into a key industry expert and/or coding and modelling expert in energy market models
  • Develop, maintain, and improve routines and data preparations
  • Take responsibility for live operations
  • Constantly learn new techniques and apply to existing problems
  • Manage students and guide young professionals
  • Attend exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings

Skills and Behaviours:

  • Excellent programming skills in a programming language, Python; SQL, GAMS and HTML preferable
  • Experience with fundamental optimization models preferable
  • Analytical mind-set, critical thinking, and ability to build profound knowledge in complex markets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Master’s degree in relevant area from a renowned university

We offer:

  • A vibrant working environment in a dynamic and motivated team
