Senior Quant Macro Quant Analyst/ London/ $ High

Award-winning hedge fund in London is looking to add a quantitative researcher with prior experience working on alpha-generating strategies in the systematic macro space, using futures. They have recently hired a senior quant and are looking to further expand their quant research team.

Role:

1. Develop systematic trading models across FX and futures.
2. Generate alpha ideas, perform backtesting, and implement strategies.
3. Assist in building, maintaining, and improving production and trading environments.
4. Evaluate new datasets for alpha potential.
5. Improve existing strategies and optimize portfolios.

Requirements:

1. 4+ years of experience in quantitative trading, ideally in FX or futures.
2. PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, or another quantitative discipline.
3. Experience with alpha research, portfolio construction, and optimization.
4. Experience building statistical, technical, fundamental, and data-driven signals.
5. Extensive experience in systematic macro and FX strategy development, using futures.
6. Experience working on medium/high-frequency systematic strategies.
7. Strong skills in data exploration, dimension reduction, and feature engineering.
8. Managing and running risk is a strong plus.
9. Proficient in Python coding.
