Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Technician for on-site work in a high-volume manufacturing environment in Birmingham. Qualifications

• Educated to NVQ Level 2 with high-volume manufacturing experience.
• Experience conducting and managing audits.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Plant audits meet customer expectations at each stage of the process.
• Investigate quality issues to identify root cause and raise corrective actions.
• Support regular inspection meetings to establish action plans for improving build quality.
• Conduct process and product audits.
• Raise DMN's / SQTs for supplier issues, track containment and costs.
• Manage quarantine area.
• Manage Laboratory (Basic Test Procedure documented).
• Use scanning camera to clarify part dimensions.
