CAF Rolling Stock, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and support of railway systems are looking for a highly driven Senior Quality Technician to join the busy Newport site. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a talent for motivating people, this could be your next big move.
This role is pivotal to overseeing the quality inspection of incoming goods used in the assembly of various Rolling Stock vehicles. Prior experience within the rail industry is a plus however it's not essential-what matters most is the ability to lead, learn, and deliver results. With the business going through a growth period, they need someone who can hit the ground running and provide strong, visible leadership and proven quality inspection skills.
This role calls for someone who can offer steady leadership to a team of 2 quality inspectors, keeping the team aligned, and maintaining momentum. Strong communication skills, a supportive approach, and the ability to build trust and focus within the team will be important.
