James Fisher and Sons plc (JFD) is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead the Quality Function across its Aberdeen-area operations. You will own the Quality Management System, drive compliance with ISO 9001 and AQAP, and partner with engineering, supply chain and leadership to embed best practice throughout the product lifecycle.

This role demands strong leadership, audit expertise and a track record in defence or safety-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Quality Management with leadership experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AQAP 2110 and AQAP 2210 requirements.
• Experience maintaining and improving QMS and certifications.
• Auditing experience with customers, suppliers and certification bodies.
• Strong problem solving and continuous improvement skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead, manage and develop the Quality team and set priorities.
• Drive effectiveness of the QMS ensuring ISO 9001 and AQAP compliance.
• Develop and improve quality systems, processes and governance across the organisation.
• Ensure robust quality planning, inspection, testing and acceptance activities with traceability.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive supplier improvement activities.
• Oversee non-conformance, corrective actions and root cause analysis.
