Overview

Senior Quality Manager (Children and Young People). Location: Remote (with travel — ideally based within 1 hour of Eastleigh, Hampshire). Salary: £42,500 - £47,500 per annum. Contract: Permanent, Full Time.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic quality planning and performance across children and young people\'s services.
  • Drive continuous improvement through robust quality assurance and risk management.
  • Champion best practice, innovation, and regulatory excellence.
  • Support service mobilisation, transformation, and post-inspection improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with regulators, local authorities, and sector partners.
  • Coach and mentor operational leaders to deliver outstanding outcomes.
About You
  • Significant experience within children and young people\'s residential care.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and the Children Act.
  • Proven leadership experience in quality, compliance, and service transformation.
  • Skilled in data analysis, audit, and regulatory reporting.
  • A collaborative leader who can inspire and influence across multi-site services.
  • Health or social care qualification desirable, but not essential.
  • Must have experience working with Ofsted and CAMHS.
