Job Title

Senior Quality Manager

Location

UK Wide (West). Contractual location: Barrow-in-Furness/Liverpool. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary

Circa £64,000 + car allowance and bonus (depending on experience)

What you'll be doing
  • Managing/directing a team of junior managers and staff
  • Leading assurance activities across the Senior Management teams to ensure the Business Unit's Management System (BMS) is compliant
  • Providing assurance to the Senior Management team as an SME in a specified Quality discipline
  • Overseeing and driving the budget, performance, and delivery results of a medium-sized team
  • Managing the governance processes supporting the management of quality aspects, including process audits
  • Driving the delivery of critical and complex Quality Assurance/Quality Inspection activities
Your skills and experience
  • Extensive knowledge and application of Quality Assurance / Quality Inspection (where applicable) end to end processes/Risk Management
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Welding/Fabrication/Machining/Painting Processes
  • Lead Auditor qualified ISO 9001
  • Previous experience leading and managing Complex Investigations in Root Cause Analysis/ Continuous Improvement activities (Six Sigma/5 Whys/8D\'s/FMEA/APQP)
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration (across the Business Unit and customer focused)
