Thales in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Quality to lead Quality Assurance across our Underwater Systems (UWS) business. This senior role drives quality excellence through the full programme lifecycle, ensuring customer and regulatory compliance and leading multi-site teams.

The role also holds accountability for the QMS, quality budget, and continuous improvement initiatives, with close collaboration to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior Quality Management leadership role.
• Experience leading, developing, and coaching professional teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead the functional team across three key sites to deliver all aspects of Quality Assurance within bids, projects, design and development lifecycles, system validation, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer acceptance.
• Lead the team to ensure consistent application of governance that upholds quality standards across all process gates, milestones, and lifecycle events.
• Implement and ensure the application of the Quality Policy and adherence to the organisation's QMS.
• Represent Quality Assurance within senior leadership reviews and provide independent quality reporting to stakeholders.
• Drive Quality Assurance strategy and roadmap to achieve continuous improvement across the domain.
• Ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered with customer needs considered throughout delivery.
