Job summary

Continuum Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector for a leading aerospace precision engineering manufacturer. You will conduct first-off, in-process and final inspections, interpreting drawings and identifying non-conformances to support a zero-defects strategy.

This hands-on role requires strong dimensional inspection skills, ability to interpret GD&T, and experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality management systems. Applicants must have permanent right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in aerospace, defence or precision engineering manufacturing.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T.
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection of manufactured components.
• Inspect components against engineering drawings, customer specs and industry standards.
• Record inspection results and raise non-conformances where required.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Work with production teams to maintain quality standards and prevent customer escapes.
