Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a quality assurance or quality improvement leadership role within further education.
• Experience leading self-assessment and quality improvement planning processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret data for strategic decisions.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Relevant teaching qualification and active engagement with inspection frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the organisation's quality improvement strategy.
• Oversee self-assessment processes and the production of self-assessment reports and quality improvement plans.
• Manage a programme of learning walks, observations and lesson visits to support and challenge teaching staff.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and areas needing intervention.
• Work with curriculum and departmental leaders to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support compliance with the relevant inspection framework and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop a team of quality staff.
