Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Quality Improvement Lead (NHS AfC: Band 8b) to lead the Gender Programme quality initiatives within NHSE Specialised Services. You will work with senior leaders to drive data-informed improvements across services and partners.

The role focuses on developing and delivering the Quality Improvement Strategy, building capacity, governance, and reporting mechanisms, and delivering measurable improvements in patient care on the gender

Qualifications

• Master’s level or equivalent in quality improvement or equivalent.
• Experience managing people, services and resources within the NHS or related sectors.
• Led quality improvement projects using lean sigma or similar methodologies.
• Strong communication and engagement with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Advanced IT skills and ability to manipulate data for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of the service’s Quality Improvement Strategy.
• Work with senior leadership to raise the profile of the organisation as a learning entity.
• Develop and sustain relationships with services, teams and external organisations.
• Promote the use of QI principles to influence agendas within the service.
• Establish monitoring, governance and reporting for QI progress and impact.
