Drive Medical in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to reinforce our Quality Management System, lead CAPAs, and drive improvements across manufacturing and design teams. You will investigate customer complaints, perform root-cause analyses, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001/13485 while mentoring colleagues and shaping best practices.

Formación

• HNC, BTEC Level 4/5, or equivalent apprenticeship in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Around 5 years’ experience within Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality standards and management systems incl. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485.
• ISO 9001/14001 Lead Auditor qualification.
• Experience leading root-cause investigations and managing CAPAs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Whys and Fishbone methodologies.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred).
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and mentor colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Lead investigations into customer complaints and non-conformances, driving CAPAs.
• Coordinate internal audits and support quality performance monitoring.
• Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Design, Purchasing and Customer Services.
• Mentor QA team members and support workload management and KPI tracking.
