Job summary

2i is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join one of our engineering teams on a large-scale, cloud-based platform with a strong focus on data quality and test automation.

You will design and maintain automated tests, work closely with developers and analysts, and help integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. This role offers a flexible hybrid/remote setup across the UK and opportunities to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Deep and recent commercial experience with automation, developing automated tests in Python using PyTest.
• Experience with BDD frameworks: Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Advanced SQL or graph query language (e.g. Neo4j).
• Understanding of Python data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Comfortable working in an AWS environment with AWS components.
• Commercial experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD delivery pipelines.
• Confident using Git and version control in teams.
• Comfortable debugging automation failures and root cause analysis.
• Experience with CSV and JSON data formats.
• Able to collaborate with developers, analysts and cross-functional teams to build high-quality test coverage.
• Collaborative in Agile environments.
• Passionate about coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities
