Senior Quality Engineer
Location: Tonbridge
Salary: c�50,000 + Company car or Car allowance
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to advance their career. The role involves joining a Tier 1 Contractor working on infrastructure projects within the local region.
Our client is a recognized leader in engineering services across highways, water, rail, and aviation sectors, known for professionalism and innovation. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and ensure project excellence.
The Opportunity:
You will work on high-profile rail projects across the Southern Region, reporting to the Quality Manager. Your responsibilities include ensuring project quality aligns with design specifications, managing the Quality Management System, and guiding subcontractors in developing quality plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
This role involves approximately 50% travel to various sites across Kent to West Sussex for audits, inspections, and meetings. Weekend work may be required, with overtime compensation accordingly.
Package:
The package includes up to �50,000 basic salary, a company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 5% matched pension, health insurance, life assurance, and flexible benefits.

About You:
Candidates from sectors other than rail, such as highways, energy, water, or construction, are encouraged to apply. Your role will involve implementing quality improvement measures, producing reports, promoting continuous improvement, and managing NCRs. Internal auditing experience is essential.
