Job summary

Irwin & Colton, based in Tewkesbury, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead the Quality Inspection Team and drive a right-first-time culture across the manufacturing operation. The role involves collaborating with Production, Engineering and customers to ensure quality standards are met.

You will own complex quality issues, challenge non-conformances, and guide continuous improvement initiatives with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and defect reduction.

Qualifications

• Quality Engineering experience, ideally within electronics or high-reliability manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, including audits and customer quality requirements.
• Strong root cause and corrective action experience, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Senior Quality Engineer

Would you like to join an established electronics manufacturing business in a senior Quality role where you can make a real impact on product quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement?

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to take a visible leadership role across the manufacturing operation, working closely with Production, Engineering and customers to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.

You’ll lead the Quality Inspection Team, take ownership of complex quality issues and have the confidence to challenge where standards are not being met, driving a strong right-first-time and zero-defect culture across the site.
