What will you be doing?

You’ll be the guardian of quality for Smith+Nephew's wound medical devices, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of safety and performance. From supporting supplier quality engineering and managing non-conformities and CAPAs, to driving continuous improvement and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll be at the centre of quality excellence. You’ll work closely with Hull Site Quality, CMO Operations and Engineering leaders, and even deputise for the Director of Supplier Quality when needed. This is a role where your expertise will be valued and your voice heard.

What will you need to be successful?

Success in this role means being a trusted expert and a proactive problem solver. You’ll bring:

  • A degree in life sciences or engineering, with over 5 years of relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge of ISO 14971, ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulations and GMP standards
  • Experience in regulated environments and a strong understanding of risk management and design control
  • The ability to lead quality initiatives, communicate clearly and work collaboratively across teams
