Overview

Senior Quality Engineer - machining and fabrications department. Hours: 39hrs Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30 and Friday 07:30–12:30. Location: Redditch. Salary: 55813.

Role and structure

Working closely with the site quality director, you will lead a team of five quality engineers. Responsible for team delivery and developing the quality department.

Responsibilities

Maintain quality procedures for the business to the highest standards. Collaborate across manufacturing plants to ensure quality objectives are met. Lead, develop and manage a quality engineering team to deliver results.

Requirements and desirable qualifications

• Manufacturing and quality experience in a fabrication, machining or metals process background (desirable).
• Knowledge of common inspection equipment used in fabrication and machining (desirable).
• Knowledge of problem analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why) (desirable).

Location

Redditch, Alcester, Solihull, Halesowen and surrounding areas.
