Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our business at this exciting time as we continue to scale.

You will ensure the smooth running of the internal quality management system and the document management system. You will also lead in the progression and review of all record and metric generation within the business maintaining all applicable ISO standard requirements.

You'll spend your time:

1. Championing the operation and improvement of the internal quality management system using the QMS system
2. Overseeing data control of design reviews via electronic project lifecycle management systems
3. Establishing and maintaining standards, processes, and procedures for all associated regulatory body standards
4. Reviewing and approving all work Instructions, standard operating procedures, and other controlled documentation.
5. Providing business-wide support for the generation of new documentation
6. Implementing and maintaining all training for personnel at all levels
7. Co-ordinating external audits, promoting a culture of continuous improvement with our suppliers and partners
8. Hosting supplier and customer visits
9. Improving documentation repository strategy
10. Maintaining templates for technical documentation
11. Co-ordinating product change requests and change processes

The key experience we're looking for:

1. Working knowledge of relevant standards, especially ISO 9001:2015
2. Experience in external auditing to ISO9001 standards
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and a statistical analysis program
4. Proficient in using eQMS system
5. Experienced public speaker, able to present both quantitative and qualitative data.
6. Basic knowledge of the product development process
7. Familiarity with project management

The following would be advantageous:

1. Use of RACI and ADKAR methodologies
2. Knowledge and working understanding of PDCA cycle
3. Adaptive training style
4. Familiar with the use of an AGILE framework for team management
