General Dynamics Mission Systems in the UK is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer (Systems Auditor) to lead audits, strengthen management systems and support external certification activities. You will champion Right First Time and continuous improvement across projects and functions.

Reporting to the Head of Quality, you will plan internal audits, evaluate compliance, record non-conformances and drive corrective actions.

Formación

• QA diploma or HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:D.
• Quality Engineering experience in design, development or manufacturing.
• Experience conducting audits and managing findings and corrective actions.
• Ability to support auditees with root cause analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication across functions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain a risk-based system audit programme.
• Plan and conduct internal system audits against the schedule.
• Evaluate compliance with contractual, regulatory and management system requirements.
• Prepare audit reports and record non-conformances and improvements.
• Agree corrective actions with auditees and monitor closure.
• Maintain Audit Action Tracker and analyse trends.
• Support external certification audits and coordinate itineraries.
• Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders on non-conformances.
• Contribute to management reviews for ISO certifications.
• Assist in change control of the business process library.
