Full-time
Quality Assurance Manager
Either North (covering Scotland down to Birmingham) or South (covering the south of England and Wales up to Birmingham)
At Heat Geek, we are tackling one of the UK’s biggest carbon contributors: home heating. Nearly 20% of all UK carbon emissions stems from home heating – and that contribution is even bigger on a global scale. At Heat Geek, we are changing that. By simplifying a traditionally complex industry and revolutionising the technology used by installers, we’re making low‑carbon heating mainstream. We have already prevented 2,500,000+ kg of carbon from entering our atmosphere, and we won’t stop there!
People are at the core of who we are and what we do. From decreasing homeowners’ energy bills to help with the cost of living, to empowering talented heating engineers to perform outstanding installations, to ensuring a greener world for all of us, we believe in the power of what we can all do together. – And we need passionate, talented, hard working people to be a part of this journey.
This role is the technical eyes and hands of quality assurance out in the field. You will carry out virtual and on‑site QA checks across the installer network, verifying that installations meet Heat Geek's standards, MCS requirements, and Building Regulations. Where a job falls short, you'll be the one who puts it right – diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, alterations, and recommissions, and making sure the customer is left with a system that performs as it should.
You will report into the Quality Assurance Manager, working as part of a growing regional QA function that keeps installation quality consistent as Heat Geek scales nationally. This role covers either the North region (Scotland down to Birmingham) or the South region (the south of England and Wales up to Birmingham). You'll be issued a Heat Geek van and will split your week between remote/virtual QA reviews, training sessions and site visits across your region.
It’s a bonus if you have…
We believe great teams are built from different ways of thinking, learning, and living, and as such, we strive to build an organisation where people can show up as themselves. – Even if you don’t tick every box listed above, but are passionate about the work that we are doing and believe that you can make a positive impact here, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a field‑based regional role. You'll be provided with a Heat Geek van and will split your time between virtual QA checks and travelling to sites across your region for on‑site checks, repairs, and recommissions. You’ll also have the opportunity for regular visits to our London HQ to collaborate with and share your insights with the wider team.
Some of our measurable benefits include:
…alongside monthly socials and regular collaboration opportunities with a team that’s passionate, hardworking, and kind.
