Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for the GCAP programme in the UK. The role ensures product integrity and quality practices from concept to delivery, leading investigations and coordinating with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams.

A strong QA foundation and familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 are required, with potential for non-senior candidates with solid quality fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Support the development and deployment of quality plans, processes and assurance activities across the programme lifecycle.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CA) activities to improve product and process performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and programme teams to proactively improve processes & procedures.
• Support internal and external audits, customer reviews and programme quality reporting.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Quality tools and techniques, including Root Cause Corrective Action, Process Mapping, First Article Inspection (FAI).
• We will also consider Quality assurance engineers not at senior level and have strong quality fundamentals.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer within GCAP, you will influence product integrity, drive quality performance across complex programmes, and ensure robust quality practices are embedded from concept through to delivery.
