Job summary

H.W. Martin (Traffic Management) Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager for our National Commercial Team, based at Lower Thames Crossing.

The role focuses on commercial and cost management across contracts, ensuring timely valuations and invoicing while managing risks. You will negotiate contracts, lead variations, and maintain excellent client and supply chain relationships, with degree-qualified or time-served experience and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Own project budgets, cost control and forecasting.
• Manage variations, valuations, invoicing and commercial docs.
• Maintain client relationships and supply chain partnerships.
• Onboard sub-contractors and manage interim and final accounts.
• Prepare and agree monthly payment applications and monitor payments.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Operational teams for data-led solutions.
