We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior QS with civils and flood defence experience based in Central London.

The role will be site based (London) and consist of managing phased works up to £20 million, totalling in the region of £100m.

The Senior QS will take ownership of the project and offer full commercial support to ensure the Project Manager and Site Managers are aware of all costs and contractual matters involved on the project.

Throughout the project you will have support from the visiting Managing Quantity Surveyor and operations team. You will also be responsible for developing an Assistant Quantity Surveyor throughout the project.

Duties will include;

Review tender documentation to ensure terms agreed are suitable, risks identified and mitigations implemented

Producing accurate and timely commercial project reports

Forecasting and change control

Procurement of subcontractors, negotiation and financial accounting

Ensure the commercial risks identified at tender stage are carried through post-contract and delivery

Supervising the performance of the commercial aspects of projects

Prepare interim valuations and agree final accounts

Lead negotiation with settlement of disputes in relation to customer and supplier accounts
