Job summary
Bimplus is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic civil engineering groundworks team in the residential sector. You will take full commercial responsibility for groundworks packages, from procurement through to final account, working with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients to monitor costs and mitigate commercial risks.
The role requires strong contract administration, cost control, and leadership to mentor junior commercial staff and deliver
Qualifications
- Solid background in civil engineering groundworks and residential sector.
- Experience with NEC/JCT contracts and procurement management.
- Valuations, interim and final accounts exposure required.
- Strong cost control, forecasting and financial reporting abilities.
- Leadership and mentoring of junior commercial staff.
Responsibilities
- Take full commercial responsibility for groundworks packages.
- Manage procurement through to final account and client liaison.
- Monitor costs, prepare valuations, manage variations, mitigate risks.
- Ensure contract compliance and identify commercial opportunities.
