Senior QS

Due to a recently awarded tender, a tier 1 civil engineering contractor is seeking to appoint a Senior QS to complement their team in Tunbridge, Kent.
The company turns over in excess of £500M per annum and maintains a strong presence in the water, power, and rail sectors. This role offers the opportunity to join a business with clear growth plans where excellent prospects for career advancement to Commercial Management are available.
This Quantity Surveying role is three days per week on site in Kent.

The Role

The Senior QS will provide commercial leadership on a £10M clean water pipeline installation administered under NEC terms.
Duties are to cover the full scope of post-contract Quantity Surveying with a particular emphasis on change management and managing compensation events.
Other responsibilities include managing subcontractors, compiling reports, and cost recovery.

Experience Required

Suitable Quantity Surveyors will be educated to HNC / BSc Quantity Surveying and have no less than five years of experience working for a contractor in civil engineering, infrastructure, or utility schemes.
