Job summary

MTrec Limited is recruiting a Senior QHSE Engineer to lead governance of QHSE systems and maintain ISO alignment across 9001, 14001 and 45001 in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

You will drive NPI validation, change controls and robust corrective action processes, while mentoring QHSE professionals and collaborating with operations to elevate risk management and incident learning.

Qualifications

• HNC in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing required or equivalent.
• ISO Internal Auditor qualification
• NEBOSH qualification
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Experience with CNC manufacturing processes
• Minimum 5 years’ QHSE / Quality Engineering experience
• Experience supporting NPI activities and audits of product/process QHSE
• Knowledge of PPAP, FAI, MSA and NPI processes
• Strong root cause analysis and systemic improvement capabilities
• NCR and 8D problem solving capability
• Confident IT skills including ERP systems (e.g. IFS)
• Strong working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001

Responsibilities

• QHSE Governance & IMS management
• Maintain alignment with ISO 9001/14001/45001
• Ensure policies and standards are clear and risk-based
• Lead QHSE inputs into management reviews and audits
• Define and oversee QA standards across product and process
• Assure NPI validation and change controls
• Oversee non-conformance and corrective action systems
• Escalate material risks and manage risk assessments
• Ensure robust legal compliance evaluation processes
• Review serious incidents for learnings and actions
• Monitor safety performance indicators and risks
• Oversee environmental aspects and permit management
• Monitor environmental performance and sustainability
• Develop QHSE leading/lagging indicators
• Provide independent assurance to senior leadership
• Mentor QHSE professionals and challenge operations
• Promote proactive, prevention-focused behaviours
