Job summary

Client Server in Bracknell is seeking a Senior QA Test Engineer to drive automated and manual testing for a major rebuild of an international payments platform. The role focuses on automation using Playwright with web and mobile testing.

You will own testing from planning through to release, mentor peers, and contribute to QA best practices while leveraging cloud environments (AWS). Hybrid work with in-office presence in Bracknell twice a week.

Qualifications

• Strong QA and test automation experience.
• Experience with Playwright; Cypress acceptable with willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python and C# as relevant.
• Ability to own testing across projects and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Own automated and manual testing, with automation as the primary focus.
• Build and maintain robust Playwright automation frameworks and end-to-end tests.
• Test applications across web and mobile; mobile experience is desirable but not essential.
• Take ownership of testing for projects and deliveries from planning through to release.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, frameworks and QA processes.
• Use AI tooling to enhance automation, development and code reviews.
• Contribute to QA best practice and mentor others where appropriate.
