Smart4 Sciences, partnering with a pharmaceutical business, invites applications for a Senior QA Officer to join its Quality team in Manchester. You will support operations, maintain robust quality systems, and ensure GMP, GDP and internal procedures are followed.

This role suits a scientifically qualified professional with strong organisational skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and a proactive, quality-focused mindset. Experience with audits and regulatory readiness is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific discipline (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry or related).
• Experience in an administrative or office-based role.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines.
• A proactive, flexible and quality-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Review finished batch records and GMP release documentation.
• Maintain QMS including CAPAs, deviations, change controls and non-conformances.
• Prepare, review, issue and control SOPs, forms and batch records.
• Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, deviations and recalls.
• Maintain quality databases, master lists and performance metrics.
• Support regulatory licence approvals and inspection readiness.
• Liaise with suppliers for quality and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Prepare quality reports, analyse data and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and drive improvement.
