Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with development teams to understand product architecture, functionality, and to ensure project success.
  • Take a proactive approach to identification, prevention, and support for defects.
  • Write automated tests and test harnesses for applications and services under test.
  • Write and review test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on agile stories and/or product requirements.
  • Contribute to the automation framework development.
Essential Skills / Experience
  • 3+ years of quality engineering experience with a proven background in writing structured automated tests.
  • Demonstrable experience in web application automation test frameworks and developing high-quality automation frameworks.
  • Experience in TypeScript or JavaScript programming.
  • Experience in BDD, TDD, data-driven and hybrid automation frameworks.
  • Ability to programmatically test products; measure test coverage; develop automation, profiling, and performance/load testing tools.
  • Experience with web application standards and REST APIs (Web services, JSON, HTTP, HTTPS).
  • Experience with automation, web deployment, and engineering tools such as Jira, GitLab, and GitLab Pipeline.
  • Experience in testing applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS) is a plus.
  • Experience using Git commands.
  • Self-driven, a team player with a can-do attitude; adaptable and quick to learn new technologies.
Desirable Skills / Experience
  • Experience using Playwright and Web Elements.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming techniques.
  • Experience with tools such as VS Code, JMeter, and Postman.
