Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to design and execute test plans for the Avaloq platform, with a focus on automation and end-to-end validation. You will work with product, dev, and operations teams to ensure reliability across the stack.

The role requires strong knowledge of testing methodologies, automated tools, and financial software experience. A fast-paced environment and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance/quality engineering.
• Experience with Avaloq application or similar banking/financial software.
• Strong knowledge of black box, white box, and gray box testing.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Tosca, UFT, Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PL/SQL, Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Understanding of Wealth Management and Investment products and propositions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure quality and functionality of Avaloq.
• Understand integration patterns between Avaloq and other systems to support end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects across modules and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct thorough testing of new features, updates, and patches.
• Design, develop, and implement automated testing scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize quality initiatives.
• Develop and maintain quality metrics, reports, and dashboards to measure application quality.
