Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to combine manual testing with automation within an agile team, helping clients drive transformation goals.

You will identify requirements, develop solutions and provide ongoing guidance on testing, while contributing to test strategy, planning and execution, including automation and API testing. SC Cleared is required and flexible/remote working is available.

Qualifications

Professional experience with Java-based Selenium test frameworks.
Strong API test automation skills.
Experience with performance testing using JMeter.
Knowledge of security testing techniques & OWASP Top 10.
Experience with BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development).
Excellent knowledge and skills in software testing & industry best practices.

Responsibilities

Define and execute test strategies, plans and scripts.
Accurate recording and monitoring of issues.
Providing support to the development of scrum teams to automate tests to guide development.
Reviewing test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards.
