Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a QA Specialist to join a new project for a global energy leader, focusing on energy market management platforms across APAC. You'll help ensure quality in a Windows/Linux enterprise IT system built on Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities include QA strategy, test planning, CI/CD testing with DevOps, and performing regression, performance, and API testing, working with Business Analysts to improve storytelling.

Qualifications

• Manual testing and QA practices in enterprise IT projects.
• Ability to design test plans and testing strategies.
• Experience with REST API testing and test execution.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and lifecycle.
• Experience with CI/CD testing and collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Ability to perform regression, performance, exploratory, and black-box testing.

Responsibilities

• Establish QA process and ensure adherence to quality agreements in day-to-day work.
• Create Test Plans, Test Strategy and test cases.
• Run QA processes and generate reports.
• Support CI/CD test case integration with DevOps.

The system ensures secure and efficient electricity flow from generation to consumption while supporting transparent and cost-optimized market operations.It enables near real-time and forecast-based balancing by integrating grid, generation, and market data to determine optimal system states.
