Role Details

As a Senior QA engineer you will be working to ensure that our platform and analytics are accurate, scalable and reliable for our customers. You will be responsible to advising our software and modelling teams on testing best practices, maintaining our test automation suites, and helping define our test strategy. You love getting into the details of complex applications, data-sets and numerical calculations, and finding gaps that others would miss. You will enjoy collaborating closely with the product design and customer facing teams on our mission to help our customers to tackle climate change.

Essential Skills

• Experience with testing web applications with numerical functionality, collaborating with Product to create testable acceptance criteria and with engineering to implement tests.
• Experience of test automation and reporting for UI testing, API testing and code level testing.
• Experience developing test strategies for complex algorithms, data assets and UX flows, and mapping test cases against business requirements to provide coverage.
• Experience of Python, Javascript and SQL.

• Experience of working with complex scientific or financial data-sets and analytics
• Experience of managing Playwrite or a similar test automation framework.
