About Verve:

Verve is building a world-class team to commercialize wearable solutions that empower the way people move in the world. Our first product is a lightweight, connected wearable system designed for industry associates to reduce fatigue, mitigate injury risk, and enhance performance.

We are seeking an experienced and talented individual to lead Verve’s commercialization and go-to-market strategy. You will collaborate with a team of experts across disciplines. You Will:

  • Develop and execute SQA strategies for physical robot and cloud-based products.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan verification and validation during development and release.
  • Establish new testing methods, best practices, and capabilities for the QA team.
  • Create and maintain automated tests using frameworks like Page Object Model and TestNG.
  • Partner with engineering teams to develop automated testing methodologies to reduce manual efforts.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of systems and subsystems.
  • Design detailed and comprehensive test cases.
  • Document defects and conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes.
  • Analyze KPIs related to quality and provide feedback on testing outcomes.
  • Participate in design and specification reviews to offer constructive feedback.

You:

  • Have 8+ years of experience as an SQA or software systems engineer working with complex IoT hardware and web applications.
  • Proficient in Java, Python, Golang, or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Communicate defects and risks clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and advocate for quality assurance.
  • Skilled with monitoring and testing tools like Mezmo, Postman, and Metabase.
  • Experienced with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, RDS, and Amplify.
  • Have experience in software QA automation, including building automation infrastructure and processes.
  • Familiar with bug tracking systems like Jira and Bugzilla.
  • Capable of performing physical activities such as squats, lifts, and handling objects up to 25 lbs.
